The leading Bulgarian LED lighting producer Octa Light Bulgaria PLC was chosen to become the supplier of LED lighting in the stores of Telenor Bulgaria. The company won the tender organized by the mobile operator, which took place during the autumn of 2015, for the supply of the LED lighting in relation to the complete rebranding and renovation of the Company’s client centers, after the company had itself renamed.

The new design and the replacement of the lighting fixtures in the first 18 stores has now become a fact and was completed in October and November 2014 , in the biggest and most representative stores of the mobile operator in the largest Bulgarian cities: Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Bourgas, Stara Zagora and Rousse. The rebranding project shall continue as of the beginning of 2015. With the replacement of the currently conventional lighting with LED, Telenor Bulgaria is bound to secure a significant economy of electrical energy, which apart from being beneficial in the economical sense is also in line with the company’s corporate social responsibility and its long term strategy for ecological responsibility.

The new LED lighting of the mobile operator’s shops has been fully conducted with the use of the ESTRELLA LED lighting series, which has wide application in retail areas, commercial centers, office buildings and shopping malls. The photometric parameters and the design of the lamps are tailored in accordance with the requirements of the client.

Apart from the high effectiveness, the ESTRELLA LED lighting series luminaires are characterized by uniformity of light distribution, which guarantees achievement of excellent illumination levels. That in itself acts as a contributor for the clients’ and staff’s visual comfort in the retail outlets and offices. The luminaires are available in a wide variety of sizes and consumption levels - from 11 W up to 25 W, a wide range of colour temperatures, which makes them suitable for numerous applications for general and accented lighting.
